Heirs Insurance Group Empowers 500 School Children and Communities through 'The Good Project'

Heirs Insurance Group launched ‘The Good Project’, our CSR initiative empowering communities by transforming plastic waste into reusable items.

In partnership with Slum2School and Eco Barter, we reaffirm our commitment to sustainability and community development, by supporting over 500 schoolchildren in Makoko, Lagos, with essential school supplies upcycled from plastic waste and a cash donation towards their education.

The Tony Elumelu Storytellers Fund

We unveiled the 17 recipients of our CSR initiative, the Tony Elumelu Storytellers Fund.

This pioneering fund, totaling USD 30,000 empowered young African creatives in reshaping the narrative of Africa. Chosen from a pool of 3,600 applicants, the finalists from different African countries  received individual grants ranging from $500 to $2,000.

By impacting the lives of these 17 individuals, Heirs Insurance Group is fostering creativity and initiating a ripple effect in the community.

Solar Power Station Donation to the Lagos Passport Office

We believe that access to electricity is a critical catalyst in the development of Africa. So, we are playing our part. We donated a 30KVA solar power station to the Lagos Passport Office of the Nigeria Immigration Service, facilitating 24/7 passport production and addressing delays.

This underscores the group’s commitment to improving lives, transforming Africa, and promoting sustainability. The initiative is set to significantly enhance service efficiency, impacting millions of Nigerian lives.
